Our Doctor will administer injections using a fine needle in specific places along the forehead, the aim being to weaken the muscles that cause frown lines and wrinkles in that area. The process takes around 15 minutes, and the only immediate evidence is a slight "Red Blush" on the forehead. Which vanishes after about 30 minutes.

Botox doesn't work instantly. Most people find it takes three to seven days before they notice any difference.

Botox works by weakening the muscle that allows you to frown. Therefore, once the botox kicked in, you'll find that try as you might you won't be able to frown. Consequently, the frown lines are no longer visible.

After several months, you'll probably begin to notice that some movement has returned and the lines will start to reappear. You may elect to have more botox at this point.

In 1994 after more than 20 years of research, Dr. Bengt Agerup and his company Q-Med in Uppsal,Sweden managed to develop a way of using a non-animal hyaluronic acid to replace lost skin tissue. Before this, collagen made from cow skin and hyaluronic acid made from rooster combs had been used.

Restylane adds volume to the skin. A practitioner injects small amounts of Restylane directly into the skinand it lifts up the wrinkles or gives more volume to the lips. Wrinkles can be raised to the level of the surrounding skin and the contours of the lips can be enhanced to the desired level.

The most common areas are the glabellar lines (between the eyebrows),the nasiolabial folds (from the wing of the nose to the angle of the mouth) and the lips, but other sites can also be treated.
